Pista is a two-person studio in Auckland. Eric builds; Arabella designs. We make custom websites for New Zealand businesses, especially ones whose customers read Chinese as well as English.

Pista is named after the pistachio. In Chinese it's 开心果: literally, “happy fruit”. That's the kind of website we're after: one that opens easily and leaves people smiling.

What every Pista site comes with

  • Designed for you, not from a template

    After you say yes, we design three different directions for your home page. You choose one, and the whole site is built to match.

  • Chinese and English on every page

    A switch on every page takes visitors to the same page in the other language. We translate with AI, you read it before it goes live, and there's no extra charge.

  • You change it yourself

    Your staff update promotions, listings and stories in a simple editor. The layout stays fixed, so an edit can't break a page.

  • Yours to keep, no monthly fee

    Every account is in your name. You own the site, the words, the design and the code. Pista charges no monthly fee.
